Just five minutes’ walk from the head of Mylor Creek and local shops and only a 15 minute drive to the Cathedral City Truro and the historic nautical town of Falmouth, this detached, light and pleasantly furnished bungalow in a mature enclosed garden is set in a quiet residential close offering a convenient base for touring.
Approached from a sloping driveway with parking for two cars a step and front door opens into an entrance hall with an adjacent twin bedroom and en suite shower, hand basin and a separate cloakroom W.C. An inner glazed door leads into an open plan living room with comfortable lounge seating and picture window with partial creek views over the rooftops and access to the light conservatory leading out to the sun deck and garden. At the rear is a dining area with door to the well fitted spacious kitchen, small utility and access to the rear garden.
From the dining area a door leads to an inner hall off which are two light and airy bedrooms, a 6ft double and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, W.C and basin and a twin with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, W.C and hand basin. The large enclosed sheltered garden extends round three sides of the property and has a decking area, mature shrubs, a sloping lawn and an elevated sunny patio. A wooden shed offers storage for bikes and beach gear and there is access to the open drive via two gates.
Mylor Bridge just a five minute walk has local shops, a pub, playing field with views of the tidal creek. A Marina and boat hire is 2 miles away at Mylor Harbour next to the Pandora Inn. The cathedral city of Truro is 8 miles, there is a golf course and horse riding nearby, and Bissoe bike hire have a good selection of cycles to explore the picturesque Coast to Coast cycle trail.
Falmouth with a variety of glorious sandy beaches is 5 miles and there is also a plenitude of public and National Trust gardens to visit in the area. Flora Dora offers an ideal base from which to explore the inland and coastal locations of this area.
