Description of Rainbow Creek
Just a short drive to the numerous beaches around Falmouth Bay and those on the Roseland Peninsula via the King Harry Ferry, this modern light detached family home is set in a quiet residential close in the peaceful village of Devoran offering a good base from which to explore both country and creekside walks.
Approached from the brick paved driveway with parking for up to 4 cars, an open porch leads into a welcoming and spacious hallway with an adjacent cloakroom W.C and basin and a separate coats cupboard.
Off the hall a light and airy sitting room spans the length of the property with comfortable lounge seating arranged before a living flame gas fire and sliding patio doors to the rear terrace and garden. To one side of the sitting room is a bright and cheerful kitchen diner with a dining suite arranged in front of French doors opening to the rear garden and a modern kitchen with fitted units. Beyond the kitchen is a utility room with some storage and glazed door to the rear garden.
A carpeted staircase from the hall leads to the first floor landing with four bedrooms, a 5ft double with en-suite shower room W.C with hand basin, two further doubles and a smaller bedroom with two singles a 3ft and 2ft 6in. A family bathroom with WC, hand basin and shower over the bath completes the first floor accommodation. The additional bed spaces are for flexibility within the party size.
The rear garden has a secluded paved patio, level lawn and a sun deck with garden seating with a gated access to one side and an open access to the other side of the property. Children will require supervision.
The village centre is a short walk where a traditional pub, church and children’s playground can be found with the nearest shop only a mile away at Carnon Downs. Truro dominated by its cathedral is 5 miles providing plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Falmouth with its sandy beaches, shopping, attractions such as the Maritime Museum is 6 miles and the beautiful gardens of Trelissick , Glendurgan and Trebah are all within a short drive. There is a golf course and horse riding nearby, and Bissoe bike hire have a good selection of cycles to explore the picturesque off road cycle trails. The surfing beaches of the North Coast are about 12 miles away.
